Verifiable HPLC purity, not a number on a spec sheet

Reversed-phase HPLC at 214 nm is the standard analytical method for synthetic peptide purity[2]. ≥98% is the accepted research-grade floor for cell-based assays, receptor binding, and signalling work[1]. Below that, you're introducing unidentified material into your assay and calling it "the compound."

What to demand: the actual chromatogram for the batch you're buying, not a generic spec, not an average, not "typical" purity.

Mass spec identity, confirming the molecule is what the label says

HPLC tells you how much of the powder is the target compound. It does not tell you the target compound is the right molecule. A vial can be 99% pure and still be the wrong peptide entirely.
